Graffiti Rock TV Show (1984)
Nothing really to do with house music, but I stumbled across Graffiti Rock online tonight and had to post it up. It's a Soultrain-esque Hip Hop from 1984 that apparently never made it past being a pilot. Which is a shame, because it's possibly the best thing I've seen. Original old school fashion, Run DMC, The NYC Breakers, Powerful Pexster, the host, rubbish scratching, Shannon, The Treacherous Three, live rap battles, b-boy threads, hip hop dictionary, sporting your hat fresh, and your 'most host' arriving Star Trek teleporter style. Genius.

Finally got a chance to start watching this, it's great. One of the dancers is Debi Mazar, who was also a Sound Factory denizen (I think I read somewhere that it was her who took Madonna there) and is now a fairly well known actress. The host Michael Holman was in Basquiat's band Gray, he's in the recent documentary Radiant Child.
Debi Mazar talks a little bit about the show's history here (#6):
